COLUSSO RUDY
Colusso Rudy graduated with distinction from the State Conservatory of Brescia under the guidance of Professor Guido Delmonte, and later studied with Roger Bobo at the Conservatoire Superior of Lausanne in Switzerland (First Prize).
He has collaborated with numerous Italian and European orchestras, among them the Fenice Orchestra of Venice, the Chamber Orchestra of Padua and Veneto, the Teatro Olimpico Orchestra of Vicenza, the Treviso Theatre Orchestra, the “G. Verdi” Symphony Orchestra of Milan, the Pomeriggi Musicali Orchestra of Milan, the “G. Cantelli” Orchestra of Milan, the “A. Toscanini” Orchestra of Parma, the Italian Philharmonic Orchestra of Piacenza, the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana of Fiesole, the Teatro San Carlo Orchestra of Naples, the Swiss Radio Symphony Orchestra of Lugano, the Sinfonietta Orchestra of Prague and the St. Petersburg Orchestra.
Colusso Rudy has played tuba and cimbasso for many years with the Teatro Regio of Turin.
He has made recordings for the Radio Svizzera Italiana, Decca and Warner Bros., and performs regularly in chamber music.
He plays exclusively YAMAHA instruments.
